After Differentiating into an O, Pampered by an A - Chapter 44
Ye Xing flared up, grabbing the thin blanket to cover her suddenly exposed skin as she belatedly realized her state.
“Shen Yushu, do you have any idea that what you’re doing is a crime?”
Shen Yushu lay in the center of the large bed, shifting into a comfortable position propped up on one arm. She gave a lazy, light chuckle. “Someone got drunk, locked me in a room, tied me to the bed, and begged for it… I couldn’t resist at all. Mm, it was quite a crime indeed.”
“Wait… wait a minute! I tied you to the bed?” Ye Xing stared with eyes wide like apricots.
Holy crap. This was completely different from what she had imagined.
Shouldn’t it have been that she was drunk, weak, and helpless, and Shen Yushu took advantage of her to mark her?
Seeing Ye Xing lower her eyes, looking adorable as she tried to process this information, Shen Yushu let out a soft chuckle.
“Yes. So, are you still not going to admit you like Alphas?”
“I…”
Ye Xing didn’t want to admit it verbally, but the pleasure she just experienced—both her body and her brain—told her that Shen Yushu’s pheromones made her completely lose control.
Right now, the woman’s porcelain-white legs were crossed gracefully, and her wet hair was tucked behind her ear; she looked like a stranded mermaid. Ye Xing couldn’t help but swallow, her heart racing.
Ye Xing, you’re really crazy. You’re an Alpha, the god of those delicate Omegas—how can you be bewitched by Shen Yushu?
Ye Xing cautioned herself over and over in her heart, but as she did, she remembered her sex dream from a few nights ago.
Crap!
Forcing her brain to clear, Ye Xing got off the bed to pick up her clothes scattered on the carpet. She tossed Shen Yushu’s clothes back at her, covering that blood-pumping, seductive sight.
Unexpectedly, Shen Yushu’s cool voice drifted over: “You’re done that fast? You don’t want more?”
Ye Xing adjusted her dress over her chest and replied coldly with a frown, “I’m done.”
Hearing Shen Yushu’s light laugh, Ye Xing felt offended.
“Shen Yushu, what happened between us today was an accident. And Zhou Island was an even bigger accident. From now on, let’s just be two Alphas, consider it a two-night stand, and not affect each other’s lives.”
As the words landed, the air grew quiet. The smile in Shen Yushu’s eyes dimmed.
Her red lips moved slowly: “Not affect each other?”
“Mm,” Ye Xing replied nonchalantly. She pulled on her dress, looking exactly like someone picking up their skirt and refusing to recognize the other person the morning after.
Shen Yushu knit her beautiful brows. “Between the two of us… who exactly is the scumbag here?”
Ye Xing arched an eyebrow. “Definitely you!” With that, she presented her snowy-white back to Shen Yushu. “Help me with the zipper. My arms are sore and I have no strength.”
She acted with the familiarity of someone who had slept with her more than once.
“…”
Shen Yushu gazed at the congealed-fat-like skin, her fingertips slowly sweeping across Ye Xing’s back. A trace of playfulness rose in her eyes, like a hunter looking at prey in a cage. Her burning fingertips intentionally brushed over Ye Xing’s glands; how could the girl’s sensitive body withstand such a tease?
Ye Xing immediately covered her neck alertly, turning to frown at Shen Yushu. “Shen Yushu, you’re doing that on purpose, aren’t you?”
Shen Yushu instantly put on an innocent, harmless expression. “What?” She said as she pulled up the smooth zipper for Ye Xing.
Ye Xing pursed her pink lips and stood up, walking into the bathroom to fix her makeup. When she came out, Shen Yushu was already dressed and her makeup was still exquisite. If it weren’t for the two faint fingernail scratches on her cold white collarbone and the lingering scent of pheromones, one wouldn’t be able to tell this woman had just experienced a bout of passion.
Shen Yushu put her rings and accessories back onto her long, fair fingers one by one, her movements noble and elegant. Ye Xing watched in a daze.
Shen Yushu raised her long lashes and said matter-of-factly, “Let’s go.”
Ye Xing licked her red lips and said with a tight voice, “Um, why don’t you go out first? If we leave at the same time…”
“Afraid people will find out?”
Ye Xing hadn’t thought much of it just now, but after putting her clothes on, she felt a bit awkward. She nodded gently. Ye Xing had no idea how cute her unconscious shyness was at that moment.
Shen Yushu looked down at her, a doting smile curling on her lips. “Fine. I’ll go out first.”
So many people had seen her enter this room; it was no different from a public announcement. Yet, Shen Yushu still humored her.
Exiting the guest room area, Ye Xing looked up at the blue sky and white clouds, taking a deep breath.
What a day of absurdity!
She had ultimately missed the ceremony for Kong Zhen and Ruan Nian’an. By the time Ye Xing returned to the venue, everyone had started lunch.
Ye Xing, who had “over-exerted” herself, had quite an appetite. Ding Ling interjected from beside her, “Ye Xing, where did you run off to? I looked for you for ages. Sun Xi said you were unwell and resting in a guest room. I wanted to see you, but she insisted on introducing me to a lead. Hey, that’s high calorie; eat this fish.”
Ye Xing’s hand obediently shifted. She lowered her eyes, too guilty to look at Ding Ling, and just nodded. She knew the “resource” Sun Xi introduced was a way to help keep Ding Ling in the dark. For some reason, Ye Xing’s feelings toward Shen Yushu grew even more complicated.
Ding Ling didn’t notice anything unusual; she was in a great mood. “Honestly, that resource Sun Xi mentioned is excellent. The lead gave me their card; I’ll follow up later to see if there’s a commercial collaboration.”
“Thanks for the hard work, Sister Ling,” Ye Xing smiled.
Ding Ling knit her brows and said matter-of-factly, “Thank you my ass. Just do me proud. By the way, Youyou said your rut is coming up, so I’ll push back some work to give you a break. Rest well at home for a few days.”
Ye Xing nodded and continued eating. Her gaze instinctively swept the hall, and she felt a bit lost when she didn’t see Shen Yushu or Sun Xi.
Elsewhere, Shen Yushu pushed open a wooden door, with Sun Xi following close behind.
Inside the room, Shang Qing sat on the sofa. Seeing the newcomer, she stood up abruptly and excitedly. “Shen Yushu, on what grounds are you locking me up? Believe it or not, I’ll sue you for illegal imprisonment!”
Seeing Shang Qing’s flailing aggression, Shen Yushu’s gaze turned cold. She walked in slowly, smoothed her skirt, and sat on the sofa opposite Shang Qing with an air of nobility. She glanced at the view outside the window, then turned her gaze slowly onto Shang Qing.
“Shang Qing, I warned you last time—don’t touch my things. Yet you choose to challenge my bottom line over and over. How do you think I should settle this debt with you?”
Shang Qing hadn’t grown up being easily intimidated. Seeing Shen Yushu’s dangerous expression, her red lips curled into a fearless look. “Shen Yushu, I’m the second Miss of the Shang family. What can you do to me? Based on those files you gave to Shang Ran? Don’t be ridiculous. Even if my father punished me by removing my position, you should know—the Shang family will be mine sooner or later, not that weak, useless eldest sister’s.”
Sun Xi, standing nearby, couldn’t help but roll her eyes. Where does this woman get her confidence?
Shen Yushu crossed her long legs, resting one hand on her knee and tapping her fingers occasionally, looking as if she were seriously listening to Shang Qing. She then nodded in agreement. “Mm. You’re right.”
Opposite her, Shang Qing gave a cold huff. “So, are you going to keep me locked up?” She stood up and brushed non-existent dust from her clothes.
Shen Yushu watched her with a calm gaze. Seeing her rise to leave, she stood up unhurriedly, walked around the small table, and stood beside her. As an Alpha, Shen Yushu suppressed Shang Qing in every aspect.
As Shang Qing stepped forward, Shen Yushu shoved her back onto the sofa, leaving her dazed.
“Shen Yushu, what are you doing—”
Shen Yushu narrowed her eyes, one side of her lips pulling into a cold arc. She said in a warning tone, “You’re right. You are the second Miss of the Shang family. I can’t touch you. But what if you aren’t?”
“What do you mean?” Shang Qing composed herself, looking at Shen Yushu in confusion.
She saw a faint smile in Shen Yushu’s eyes. Despite the bright sun outside, Shang Qing felt the temperature in the room plummet.
Shen Yushu looked down on her and said nonchalantly, “Nothing.” She pulled a wet wipe from the table and wiped her slender fingers. “Please, Miss Shang. Remember to go back and be a good ‘second Miss’ while you still can.” She gestured toward the door.
Shang Qing was even more confused. What is this woman up to? But since she was currently alone, she didn’t dare clash with Shen Yushu. She tidied her appearance, lifted her head high, and walked out.
Behind her, Shen Yushu sighed. “After all, she won’t be the ‘Big Miss’ for many more days.”
She beckoned to Sun Xi, who immediately handed over a tablet.
“President Shen, this is Shang Qing’s mother—Mu Wan. Her original name was Mu Fenglan. She dated a male Alpha before she met the old master of the Shang family. This is Shang Qing’s birth record.”
Shen Yushu’s eyes swept the screen. She gave a faint “Mm.” “Send these to Shang Ran. Tell her it’s another ‘free gift’ from me, no need to return the favor.” She checked her watch. “Let’s go.”
The moment Kong Zhen saw Shen Yushu in the suite, her sharp eyes spotted the faint red mark on her collarbone.
She teased, “Whoa, Shen Yushu, are you here for my wedding? I didn’t see hide nor hair of you earlier, but I heard you occupied a whole row of guest rooms. What were you doing? Playing hide-and-seek with someone?” She pointed to Shen Yushu’s collarbone.
Shen Yushu remained calm. She gave a brief overview of what happened to Kong Zhen—naturally skipping the part about her and Ye Xing.
Unexpectedly, Kong Zhen snatched off her veil and shouted excitedly, “Where is Shang Qing? See if I don’t slap her silly for daring to touch your person in my family’s garden!”
Sun Xi quickly comforted her. “Miss Kong, don’t get excited. President Shen has handled it. Quick, go change your clothes.”
Kong Zhen glanced at the bedroom behind her and called out softly, “Wife, are you done changing?”
“Wait a bit longer!” Ruan Nian’an’s soft, pleasant voice came from inside.
With the ceremony over, the couple had to change to greet guests. Shen Yushu didn’t want to waste their time. She looked at Kong Zhen’s beautiful bridal makeup and asked in a low voice, “Where’s the thing I asked for?”
Kong Zhen realized, walked to the table, and brought over a bouquet of white lilies of the valley. The tiny white flowers radiated a charming, romantic elegance.
“Here. I’ve never seen someone as speechless as you. People usually fight to catch the bouquet; you just come to my door and demand it.” Kong Zhen stuffed the expensive bouquet into Shen Yushu’s hand.
Shen Yushu accepted it with a clear conscience, a shallow smile appearing on her face. She patted Kong Zhen’s arm and pointed to the room behind her. “Your wife is calling you. Happy wedding. I’m leaving.”
In the afternoon, there were various activities at the estate. Ye Xing, due to her physical state, prepared to leave early. Ding Ling had some networking to do, so Ye Xing proposed leaving on her own.
Ding Ling was uneasy, but a familiar voice came from behind: “I’ll take her back.”
Shen Yushu was standing there with her hands behind her back, radiant under the sun. Ding Ling, as a manager, felt the need to remind them to keep their distance, but before she could speak, Shen Yushu walked down the steps.
Without a word, she grabbed Ye Xing’s slender wrist. “Let’s go. I’m tired, going back to rest.”
“…”
Ding Ling thought she had heard wrong. What did Shen Yushu mean? They sounded as familiar as a couple who had slept together countless times—
Sun Xi saw the situation and skillfully pulled Ding Ling away. “Aiya, Sister Ling, let me introduce you to another director. He’s over there.”
Ye Xing looked into Shen Yushu’s smiling eyes and knew the master-servant duo were acting in concert. As she was pulled toward the exit, she grumbled, “Shen Yushu, what are you doing? Let me go, so many people are watching.”
Shen Yushu’s grip tightened. She produced a white bouquet from somewhere. Ye Xing stared at the exquisite, expensive-looking flowers in surprise. “This is?”
“The bridal bouquet.”
“I know, I mean where did you get it? We were…” Ye Xing wanted to say they weren’t at the ceremony, so how could she have the bouquet? Then she remembered the marking scene and bit her lip, falling silent.
Shen Yushu raised her lashes and stuffed the flowers into Ye Xing’s arms. She gazed quietly at the person before her and said softly, “I have never failed to get what I want. That includes…” Shen Yushu leaned in, almost pressing against Ye Xing’s ear.
Looking at the translucent, tiny earlobe, she suppressed the urge to bite it.
“That includes… you.”
