To Covet (GL) - Chapter 79
“Are you planning to leave tonight?” Shi Yunya put down her chopsticks.
“Mhm, everything is packed.”
“That’s fine. I assume you have everything ready. If you need money for anything later, talk to your father.”
“Okay.”
As if she had been deliberating for a long time, Shi Yunya suddenly looked directly at me with an air of interrogation:
“I’m curious. You and Wanwan spend so much time together—what do you talk about?” She took off her glasses and wiped them clean. “I checked your chat logs, and there isn’t much there. Why does she like to stay with you the moment she gets home?”
I tilted my head in confusion and replied, “We talk about studying, school things, classmates, teachers—that sort of thing.”
After a brief moment of internal surprise, I finally understood Yu Zhouwan’s strange behavior over the past few days. No wonder she stayed quiet and wouldn’t reply to my messages or say anything on the phone; it turned out her mother was constantly monitoring her phone and tracking her every move.
The person sitting across from me didn’t think there was anything wrong with this. On the contrary, because she hadn’t found any evidence, Shi Yunya was becoming even more suspicious of the reasons behind the change in Yu Zhouwan’s personality. She was starting to strike at every possible trigger in her daughter’s surroundings to “pull the problem out by the roots.”
She had seen all kinds of slick lies in the professional world; she could obviously tell I was hiding something.
However, Shi Yunya had no idea that her precious daughter already had such a sordid relationship with me. She simply thought it was a case of adolescent girls having shared secrets and excluding a middle-aged woman.
“Wanwan has been obedient since she was a child. She does whatever I tell her to do. Of course, she actually takes after me; she’s had her own opinions and her own logic for doing things since she was young.”
She poured a glass of water and handed it to me.
“But she is willing to listen to me regarding the major things in life. After all, she is still young and doesn’t know how to weigh what’s important. Don’t you agree? Doing well in school is only one side of it; the rules of society and how to conduct oneself—there is so much more to learn.”
I hadn’t eaten much at dinner, and drinking the water now made me feel a bit nauseous.
“Mhm. Auntie’s advice is definitely for the best.”
“Yu Keyi, tell Auntie the truth. What has been going on with Yu Zhouwan lately? Who has she been in contact with besides you? She’s always trying to pull little stunts, and she’s getting better at lying. I don’t know who taught her. Before, she’d be scared when I caught her; she’d admit her mistakes and accept punishment. Now, she won’t admit a thing unless I produce hard evidence.”
“I have never been the kind of mother who has no bottom line. I won’t spoil her.”
“Yu Zhouwan said she could make her own decisions and didn’t need me watching her every second. I believed her once, and look what happened. If I hadn’t noticed something was wrong, this child’s path in life would have gone completely off track.”
“Yu Keyi, what do you think? Am I right? Should I continue to trust her?” She sneered at me, as if she could see through my skin to my every thought. “She vowed she would take responsibility for her decisions and her future. And the result?”
It wasn’t appropriate to say she was right or wrong, so I just gave an awkward tug at the corner of my mouth.
The real intent behind her conversation was to subtly imply that my presence had dirtied the greenhouse she had built to raise her delicate flower. Little did she know that I had already defiled that flower inside and out.
“Wanwan’s teacher told me she applied for an art academy and had been preparing the application materials long ago. I truly can’t believe it. she has never lied to me before, and about something this big, something that concerns the rest of her life. Without having struggled in society, who knows what it’s really like out there, right?”
Her complaining about her daughter’s lack of ambition was a facade; her true aim was to show off her own ability and foresight. After being with Yu Hanyang for so long, her way of speaking had been assimilated.
“Keyi, you’re still young. You don’t know how hard it is to find a job and establish yourself in society later on. Painting is something you can do anytime as a hobby. When you can’t even fill your stomach, who has the mind for art, right?”
“Mhm, that’s what our teachers say too.”
“She’s throwing a tantrum now and won’t say it, but I know exactly what’s going on in that girl’s head. She probably thinks I’m pedantic and not worth talking to; she’s been giving me a cold face for days,” she muttered to herself with a cold snort. “She’ll thank me later. Most importantly, a young girl’s social circle should be clean. Don’t get deeply involved with unsuitable people.”
I couldn’t find the right words to praise her wisdom because my mind was wandering—wondering if Yu Zhouwan was currently unable to stop herself from secretly masturbating in her room.
It was like facing a teacher droning on at the podium about abstract knowledge, while your head is full of the erotic scenes from an adult movie you snuck a look at under the covers the night before. I knew no one could read my mind, yet I felt an inexplicable thrill.
Furthermore, the object of my fantasy was the very treasure she held in the palm of her hand.
“Auntie, I think you’re absolutely right. If you need me to supervise Sister, I’d be happy to help.”
This out-of-the-blue comment made Shi Yunya pause with her cup mid-air. She had expected me to be so stung by her disdain and exclusion that I wouldn’t dare speak. She hadn’t expected me to not only miss the subtext but to brazenly offer my support, effectively using my “ignorance” to shut her up.
“I’m going to go see Sister.”
I didn’t bother looking back at the expression on her face.
A thick bundle of quilt sat motionless on the bed. I locked the door, walked over, and whipped it off, messing up her hair. Yu Zhouwan jolted awake, saw it was me, and yanked the quilt back to hide like a turtle.
“What’s wrong, Sister?” I whispered in her ear. I could see tears still clinging to her red eyes. “You were holding it in so hard during dinner, weren’t you? Your legs were twitching under the table. Does it feel bad? It’s such a shame we were interrupted before I could let Sister reach a climax.”
I tried to turn her face toward me to kiss her, but Yu Zhouwan hurriedly hid back under the quilt and pushed me away.
“Yu Keyi, not now. Don’t touch me…”
“Why?”
I didn’t listen. Instead, I sat directly on top of her to pin her down and skillfully lifted her clothes.
Yu Zhouwan struggled violently to protect her body, as if I were a beast about to devour her.
“Wait a second, listen to me, my mother she…”
“If you’re this loud, she’ll be able to hear you directly.”
She refused to take off her own clothes, so she was left in a disheveled, half-exposed state that only made her look more pitiful and invited more bullying. Her resisting hands were in the way, so I took off my own bra and used it to bind her wrists. I kneaded her slender waist almost greedily, unable to help but marvel at how perfect every inch of her skin and bone was. Even though we looked somewhat similar, I was always easily captivated by her mannerisms.
Her tears and sobs acted like an aphrodisiac, letting my desire to possess her as a toy and to ruthlessly ravage her take the upper hand.
“Don’t worry, I locked the door,” I said.
“No… it’s no good… Mom has the key, she’ll come in to check. She just saw you coming to find me, she’ll definitely be suspicious,” she was practically begging. “Yu Keyi, I really can’t let Mom know about this. No… wuu… I can’t…”
“Mhm? What would happen if she knew?”
“I… I would die.”
Yu Zhouwan’s rejection didn’t make me back down. I stopped tearing at her clothes but pinned her to the bed, admiring her withdrawal and cowardice.
“Would she strangle you?” I asked. “Or would she make your life a living hell? For example, by imprisoning you in this room, or by interrogating you on what positions you use to fuck your own sister… or perhaps, by letting you watch the videos of us making love?”
Yu Zhouwan bit her lip hard while crying, not daring to make a sound. Hearing my cruel and blunt description, she closed her eyes in pain, and the tears flowed back into her messy hair.
I stripped off all my clothes, held her shoulders, and pried her lips open to kiss her, deliberately making wet, smacking sounds. Our bodies became burning hot through the disheveled layers of her clothes. While she was dazed and muddled from the kiss, I raised my hand and delivered a sharp, stinging slap to her buttocks.
“Yu Keyi!” Yu Zhouwan spoke with an uncontrollable sob. “Don’t do this. Aren’t you afraid she’ll come in and find out…”
“I’m not afraid. I’ve never been afraid of her,” I pinched her chin. “She’s not my mother, what can she do to me?”
“Then what about me?” Silver threads of saliva hung from Yu Zhouwan’s lips from our deep kiss. “What about me?”
“She’s your mother, she won’t kill you,” I gave her a bright smile. “At most, she’ll keep you from seeing me and never allow me to do these filthy things with my own sister again, right?”
“That proves Sister still wants to make love with me. Otherwise, you should be happy if she found out; you should feel liberated.” I untied my hair ribbon, looped it around her neck, and pulled her close to me until our bodies were pressed tight.
“Yu Zhouwan, my good sister, do you want to know why she came into your room today?”
Yu Zhouwan’s eyes suddenly widened as she realized something. She scrambled to get up from the bed, but forgot her hands were bound. With a slight tug of the hair ribbon, she fell hard against my chest.
“My mother likes to install surveillance cameras in the corners of my room,” Yu Zhouwan sighed softly. “It’s been a rule for as long as I can remember. She must see everything I do in my room every day.”
“Later, when my mother wanted to marry him, I disagreed. I told her I didn’t want her admiring what I did in my room every day with a strange man. Since I didn’t need to be back except for sleeping, she agreed to turn off the surveillance for the time being.”
“Yu Keyi, I can swear she must be watching us on the computer outside right now!” She scanned the surrounding darkness alertly. I heard the sound of her swallowing in fear. “I can feel it… that feeling of being watched by something…”
I wrapped my arms around her neck, giving her the soothing comfort one would give a baby.
“Then shall I find it and turn it off for you?”
“No, Mom will get angry. she’ll burst in and ask what we’re doing.”
“Then why isn’t she coming in now? Is it because she hasn’t seen us yet?”
Yu Zhouwan shrank back desperately. I gripped her neck to force her to look at me, my hand tightening. She opened her mouth like a fish deprived of oxygen, her breathing growing heavier.
“Sister, satisfy me for a moment, mhm?”
I spread my legs and straddled her tear-stained face. My cold hair brushed against her thighs as her warm breath hit my lower body.
“We’ve already come this far. What does it matter if you let Little Sister reach a climax one last time?”
