Amnesia Trap (GL) - Chapter 51
The act of “tidying up further” was not easy at all.
Sheng Zhi could quickly fix her own appearance, but Ji Qingfan would not let her; she kept moving restlessly.
“Hot…” She once again tore open the clothes that Sheng Zhi had finally managed to help her put back on.
She hummed and panted, murmuring under her breath.
In the blink of an eye, the clothes were taken off and tossed aside.
“Stop moving.” Sheng Zhi was already suppressing her temper; after several back-and-forth struggles, her patience was completely exhausted.
Clearly, words had no effect. Ji Qingfan looked at her through a daze, her voice piteous: “I feel terrible, so hot…”
She rubbed against the sheets.
But it provided no relief. Her consciousness seemed even more blurred, her emotions were turbulent, and her attention was so scattered she couldn’t focus at all.
Whether it was from the struggle or some other reason, Sheng Zhi felt herself heating up as well.
Originally, she hadn’t planned on getting too close to Ji Qingfan; when she was fixing the clothes earlier, she had only reached out with her hands. But clearly, that was futile; she had to pin her down.
Because her temper was rising and her patience was nearly gone, her movements were no longer gentle.
At some point during this process, she touched somewhere she shouldn’t have, and Ji Qingfan suddenly let out a sound completely different from all the ones before.
Her restless movements instantly diminished.
Her eyes were shimmering with water, and her previously drifting attention was now entirely focused back on Sheng Zhi.
The moment their eyes met, Sheng Zhi froze.
She clearly felt the moisture on her knee.
—It seemed that during the struggle just now, she had accidentally rubbed against her a few times.
Seeing her frozen and still, Ji Qingfan moved as if to reach out and touch her herself. Sheng Zhi pressed down a bit further and said instinctively: “Did I give you permission to move?”
The person who had been moving restlessly to the point of giving her a headache now felt herself being controlled. Hearing those words, she actually stopped moving.
She looked trembling and wavering, her whole body appearing to have gone soft.
Sheng Zhi, possessed by some strange impulse, rubbed against her a few more times.
It was as if a wicked urge was ignited at that moment.
The call from the private hospital was like a small pebble on a steep slope. If that pebble failed to wedge itself under the wheel, the speed of the slide would only increase. Once balance was lost, it would be a tumbling, rolling fall to the bottom.
Sheng Zhi’s sense of regret never stopped.
But what cycled even faster than regret was an uncontrollable sense of drowning, until there was no room left for remorse.
The knee, which wasn’t very convenient to move, was gradually replaced by something else.
The atmosphere became sticky and sweet.
She was simply too sensitive…
How long had it even been?
Sheng Zhi’s heart was racing. She felt she must have lost her mind; she knew she shouldn’t, yet she couldn’t stop herself.
And the person holding her was far less lucid than she was, only capable of making sounds of pleasure because they were finally touching.
Ji Qingfan proactively guided her, leading her to sink into deeper places.
Even though uncontrollable tears fell blurred from her eyes, she only greedily craved more.
It was as if no amount of excess mattered.
The situation was sliding toward total loss of control. What terrified Sheng Zhi even more was a different sensation growing under the sound of Ji Qingfan’s voice.
This indescribable, hidden sensation made it impossible for her to stop.
Water splashed, dampening both lips and fingertips.
The phone rang again.
But the owner of the phone now had palms that were nearly soaked; she couldn’t answer, nor did she have the time.
The entire night was excessively chaotic.
She didn’t even know when it ended; it was like an absurd dream.
When she opened her eyes again, Sheng Zhi was woken by the sunlight.
She instinctively moved, then immediately realized there was someone beside her.
The temperature was scorchingly hot.
Sheng Zhi looked sideways; Ji Qingfan’s eyes were tightly shut. She was nestled in Sheng Zhi’s arms, pressed tightly against her.
Their exposed skin bore the same marks of ambiguity.
All the memories leapt into her mind at that moment. Her heart pounded, and she sat up abruptly.
The sudden movement tugged at the fine, dense soreness across her body.
The quilt slipped down. Sheng Zhi looked with difficulty at the clear bite marks on her chest.
She reached out to touch them; they were still faintly tingling and numb.
All of this reminded her of what happened last night.
Reminding her that they didn’t go to the hospital, but stayed on this bed instead…
How out of control it had been.
Sheng Zhi looked at Ji Qingfan. Thinking of the heat she felt earlier, she uneasily reached out to check her forehead—
It was burning hot.
Ji Qingfan had a fever.
At this moment, the emotions in her heart were even more chaotic than everything that had happened the previous night.
But clearly, this was no time to organize her feelings; she had to take Ji Qingfan to the hospital now.
Sheng Zhi looked to the side.
The clothes stained with fluids were absolutely unwearable.
She took out two new sets of clothes and undergarments from the suitcase. Then, using a towel dampened with warm water, she moved gently to wipe Ji Qingfan down before changing her clothes, only then tidying herself up.
She carried her downstairs and into the car.
The car raced to the hospital. Once there, it was a non-stop flurry of examinations, doctor’s orders, and IV drips.
After the specialist left, only the two of them remained in the VIP ward.
Sheng Zhi looked at Ji Qingfan on the hospital bed.
She was nearly curled up under the covers, her face appearing increasingly frail. Her moist lips were now reduced to a sickly, dry red from the high fever. She looked so pitiful, it was heart-wrenching.
Sheng Zhi bit her lip.
The images from before seemed to linger before her eyes, the physiological stimulation leaving a long-lasting trace.
Last night, Ji Qingfan was under the influence of drugs; she probably didn’t even know what she was doing. Yet Sheng Zhi, who was conscious, hadn’t held back—she had even been quite excessive.
She hadn’t known she could be so… out of line in bed.
Ji Qingfan’s physical constitution was already quite poor.
If she had taken her to the hospital immediately last night, perhaps she wouldn’t have burned up like this.
The fluid in the IV bag dripped down, bit by bit.
The more she thought, the more awkward she felt, and the more guilty she became.
Although she kept saying she wanted to bully Ji Qingfan and see her blush and cry, she had never thought of bullying her in this way, nor had she ever thought it would actually happen.
But now they had not only done it, but she had also made the woman sick with a fever.
She didn’t want to admit it, but she seemed to really like that feeling.
Ji Qingfan, in that state, was a side of her she had never seen—intoxicated and enchanting. Sheng Zhi didn’t even need to speculate like usual whether what she was saying was true or false or if there was an element of performance; her reactions had been honest and direct enough to make Sheng Zhi flush just thinking back on them.
Sheng Zhi kept watch by the bedside. Hearing Ji Qingfan murmur some fragmented words, she leaned in to listen, but couldn’t make them out.
She noticed her sweating; several strands of hair at her temples were soaked.
Sweating like this must be very uncomfortable.
Sheng Zhi began to wipe the sweat for her. As she did, she couldn’t help but wonder when Ji Qingfan would break the fever and wake up.
She hoped the fever would subside quickly, yet she had no idea how to face her when she was conscious.
…It was a complete mess. How did things turn out like this?
