After the Scum Alpha Picked Up Her Rival Omega - Chapter 20
Si Xia was sometimes truly mischievous, loving to take advantage in the most unexpected ways. Even if there was no real benefit to be gained, she loved to talk a big game.
For instance, seeing Ming Ruixue’s face full of hesitation and inability to retort right now made her really want to laugh.
Ming Ruixue pressed a hand to her forehead. “…”
Si Xia magnanimously gave her a way out. “Sister, I was saying that you have to make breakfast with your own hands.”
Ming Ruixue felt weak—utterly defeated by the verbal jab. She couldn’t exactly be the first one to admit her mind had gone to the gutter.
“Of course I knew you were talking about breakfast.” Ming Ruixue gave Si Xia a clear, bright smile. “What are you explaining for?”
A decisive counter-strike; Si Xia instantly withered.
Ming Ruixue leaned in close, asking curiously, “Your cheeks are so red. Could it be you who’s thinking about messy things?”
The Alpha’s close-range pressure, with long eyelashes failing to hide her playful mood, even included a flirtatious arch of an eyebrow. “As for me, Sister doesn’t like ‘handling things’ herself, but if it’s an Omega… that might be a different story.”
As an Omega, Si Xia bit her lip. Unfortunately, having woken up in the Alpha’s house that one morning, she had witnessed Ming Ruixue’s “handiwork.” The woman’s desires were so strong first thing in the morning that Si Xia had barely escaped.
Si Xia turned her face away huffily, having lost to Ming Ruixue again so early in the day.
An Omega’s personality is much like a cat: playful yet proud, and prone to anger if provoked. Ming Ruixue liked cats, and she even found the cat-like Si Xia quite adorable at times.
Teasing a cat once in a while is fine, but if you push too hard, she’s likely to bite.
Ming Ruixue stepped back half a pace. She was slightly fatigued and needed food to replenish her energy.
The buffet restaurant was empty. A mission card sat on the dining table. Ming Ruixue and Si Xia reached the kitchen one after the other, and Ming Ruixue saw the card first.
[Law of Romantic Attraction Mission Card: The guest who sees this card first needs to prepare six glasses of fresh juice for breakfast. Today’s Vitamin C intake depends on you!]
The fruit consisted of freshly picked oranges, so preparing the juice wasn’t a difficult task in theory. The difficulty lay in the production team’s cruelty: they had provided a manual ceramic citrus squeezer.
A small, ceramic juicer sat on the table. The center was raised like a rounded cactus with a pointed top.
Ming Ruixue looked at it several times but couldn’t figure out the mechanics. “Si Xia, how do you use this?”
Si Xia walked over and took a look. “It’s a simple manual juicer. You don’t know how to use it?”
In the catnip spirit’s world, juicers were electric; you just put the fruit in and had fresh juice in minutes. This structure was a first for Ming Ruixue.
“I’ve never used one before.”
Si Xia laughed. “Sister, you’re so silly. You can’t even use this.”
Just as Ming Ruixue was about to speak, Si Xia pressed her hands on her shoulders. “Sister, sit down. I’ll teach you.”
Ming Ruixue had a bad premonition. The bullet screen display in the center of the table showed the audience howling with laughter.
[Is Sister Ming a “clumsy beauty”? She can’t even use a manual juicer…]
[No way, no way, Sister Ming must be acting!]
[Holy crap, it’s confirmed. Are these two giving us “sugar” (fanservice)!!!]
[Hey, hey, they’re juicing fruit, but why does this feel “off” to me???]
Ming Ruixue sat on the stool. Si Xia embraced her from behind in an extremely ambiguous posture.
There were halved oranges on the table. Si Xia took one and placed it on the juicer.
“Sister, place your palm over the orange.”
The Omega’s faint milky scent swirled around her neck. Ming Ruixue’s already weak body felt even softer. Lacking strength, she simply let Si Xia lead her.
Ming Ruixue pressed her palm onto the orange and asked, “And then?”
“Don’t be in a hurry, Sister. I’ll teach you step by step.” Si Xia slowly wore down Ming Ruixue’s patience. Her left arm went around Ming Ruixue’s waist to steady herself on the table, while her right hand gently covered the back of Ming Ruixue’s hand.
The viewers were going crazy. The contrast between their hands—distinct joints, pale and slender—stacked together was a double visual treat.
The Omega’s hand was very soft. The moment it touched her, it carried a trace of flirtation, spreading like a fire to Ming Ruixue’s heart.
Ming Ruixue was a bit thirsty and wanted to drink the juice quickly. However, the movements Si Xia taught her were very slow; palm to hand-back, the temperature transferred directly.
Ming Ruixue tried to move her hand, but Si Xia pressed down harder, teaching in her ear, “Sister, press down firmly.”
Ming Ruixue couldn’t muster the strength; she pressed down weakly a few times. Si Xia was unsatisfied. “Sister, if you don’t use force, how will the juice come out?”
Ming Ruixue confessed, “I don’t have much strength in my hands today.”
The moment the words left her mouth, Si Xia let out a low chuckle by her ear. “With Sister like this, I’m really worried about the quality of life for your future partner.”
Excellent.
Ming Ruixue bit her lip and pressed down hard several times. The pulp gave way and juice flowed out. “Is this okay?”
“Sister, your technique is wrong.” Si Xia poured the juice into a glass and swirled it. “Look, hardly any juice came out.”
Juicing apparently required a lot of knowledge. Ming Ruixue checked the time; breakfast was approaching, and she hadn’t even finished one glass. She tried pressing a few more times, but the yield was low and she was wasting half the orange.
Si Xia couldn’t watch any longer. She placed her hand back over Ming Ruixue’s and continued to teach. “Sister, after you press hard, you have to turn it, like this.”
Ming Ruixue felt her hand being encased by Si Xia’s. She followed the rhythm, slowly turning in circles. Indeed, much more juice came out.
Si Xia led Ming Ruixue through several more rotations. “Sister, you have to grind it thoroughly so that every last drop of juice comes out.”
Though the words sounded a bit awkward, they made sense. Turning was more labor-efficient than just pressing.
“I think I can do it myself now.” Ming Ruixue understood the operation; she still had enough strength for juicing.
“Alright then, Sister, you try.”
Si Xia stepped aside to watch Ming Ruixue’s juicing technique. After pressing hard and grinding in circles, Ming Ruixue gave the orange a final squeeze at the end to ensure not a single drop was wasted.
Si Xia saw a different meaning in her gaze and suddenly felt that being her Omega might actually be quite “blissful.”
!!!
Si Xia shook her head. How could she think such random things?
By the time the juicing was over, all the necessary “industrial saccharine” had been produced. That scene alone was enough for CP fans to dissect for hidden meanings.
However, Si Xia didn’t plan to let Ming Ruixue off that easily. Instead, she picked up a glass of juice and took a sip. It was sweet and refreshing.
On the other side, Ming Ruixue was drinking her juice defenselessly when the images of the juicing process—press, turn, grind, squeeze—flashed through her mind. No matter how she thought about it, something felt “wrong.”
Then she heard Si Xia say with a mix of mockery and reminder, “Sister, isn’t the technique for juicing the same principle as ‘handling things’ yourself? How could you possibly not know how to do it?”
Well, well. So this was the trap she’d been waiting for.
